tools This was part of a series of simple hand tools designed for use in cottage industries done during our student years. The tools shown here are a leather stitching tool and a reciprocating wood drill. The leather tool was used for stitching thick cowhide with leather thongs. The wood drill was an alternative for the augre and bit drill traditionally used by carpenters. These were designed with special emphasis on the ergonomics of the hand. |
